Hi!  Well, I'm not very good at this blogging thing.  A year later and we have one entry.   I do have to say it has been an amazing year.  Our play Cash on Delivery earned 1st place in the State and was selected to perform in front of 2000 people at the Phoenix Civic Plaza where it was judged for nationals.  It was judged against 50 other High Schools nation wide and earned a runner-up position and was invited to perform at Nationals.  Quite an honor!  We then put on Seussical the Musical and it was just as successful with a full house each night.  Michelle will have to teach me how to post pictures.

Our family is all doing amazingly well.  Ed continues to be amazing and becoming younger each year.  I just finished a week directing a summer theatre camp for special needs kids.  Michelle will hop on board in July when we do another week.   Dawn and Britton are with us while Ryan is stationed in Afghanistan.  Michelle continues to go to school and Jonathan is now a Junior in high school. We are all busy and very happy.

Curtis and Rachel have 3 beautiful children, 2 girls and one boy, and are living in Idaho, Deanna and Ricky also have 3 darling boys and are living in Washington, DC., Ally and Ben have an adorable little girl and are also in Idaho, and Dawn and Ryan have a handsome baby boy.

I am now on summer break--hooray!--and will be looking for plays for next year and also enjoying some R & R.  Our love to all!

Happy 29 years!

Yeah! Happy Anniversary! Can you believe that we have been married 29 years? Crazy fun. It seems like just yesterday that I was a young mother having children of my own and now I have grandbabies who are adorable! At that time, I had no idea how fast the years would fly by and how quickly my children would grow up and have families of their own. How I cherish each moment we had together, and how grateful I am that my children are happily married with wonderful spouses that they cherish. How grateful I am for the gospel and for the blessings that have enriched our lives. I have an incredible husband whom I love dearly and it has been a wonderful 29 years!

To my darling grandbabies-
Bailey, Avrie, Tre and Clayton!
Thank you for your smiles and laughter. Thank you for singing to me and sharing your fun stories. We are always so excited to talk to you and to hear about all you are doing. You are beautiful and we are so proud of you. Bailey and Avrie-We can't wait to come for Christmas! Tre and Clayton-We are excited to come and visit this summer. We love you so much!

Life is wonderful!

Busy Busy and more busy

Mom and dad both have a fun and busy life! I (michelle) am updating there blog, becasue neither one of them have time, know how, or want to. So last night mom says... "Michelle why don't you just keep our blog updated?" Does my crazy mom seriously think i have time to update their blog?! Key word their. Well, here i am anyway. I found a little time to do some updating...
I'm actually not completely sure what they want me to say, or anything because i am home just as much as they are and have no idea what they love to do in their free time (if they have any)
anyway....
MOM--- is the director of the Musical at Mesa High right now. They are doing "You're a good man charlie brown" it is not the origional, it is actually exciting and has REALLY fun music! I love it. I also love the fact that i actually get to see her sometimes becasue i am choreographing. She is the drama teacher, stage manager, speech and debate coach, and is also on board with Judy Cotter in Stuco... or Student Coucil. So she has completely over booked our herself, and doesn't get to have much freetime. And when she does have some extra time it is watching youtube trying to figure out different things she can try (she watches things on YAGMCB right now it is all about the kite song because she doesn't just want to have Charlie Brown aka Carl King just walking around the stage and not really doing anything.) Lets see, oh yes she has found time to read books, mainly those vampire books. Like twilight and stuff. She finished all of those. So ya, thats moma for ya.

Dad-- i have to be honest. I don't know whats going on in dads life. I really only know moms becasue i am 1/2 apart of it. I DO know he is reading though. haha. its really cool! Dawn, and mom are talking about how good these vampire books are and at first dad was making fun of them. He started reading them and kept on saying how dumb the book was... yes he is now almost finished with the second book and moving on the the third... mom and i were talking in their room last night and dad kept telling us to be quiet so ha could read... then a little while later he said "You know i can stop reading now becasue i know how the book ends... She starts a series and changes her name to buffy!" haha i thought it was so funny! Mom kept saying "that is so unfare how do you come up with such funny things like that?" He just laughed! He is also really into star gate SG1 (i am to i have to admit... i love the scifi channel). On monday nights for family night we watch Hero's!! (i know not the most spiritual thing to do) but we call it family night becasue it is basically the only night where we are together, i would say ALL together, but mom is always at the school working and blocking, so she hasn't joined us yet, but i can't wait till she does! OH! for conference dad made jonathan and i eggs, bacon, and waffles! it was so yummy! he has taken great care of us since mom is gone. Its fun. Bonding time with dad... Ü Well, thats all i have time to update right now. Maybe i can get mom to update their own blogs so that they can be more personalized... cross your fingers XX.
